Resilience: Overcoming the Mental & Emotional Side of Injury

If you're struggling with pain that seems to have outlived its usefulness, afraid to return to the gym or your sport, or frustrated by how much an injury has affected your life, this course is for you.

I've experienced firsthand the vicious cycle that can come with pain and injury. You're hurting, which can leave you feeling depressed, frustrated, or angry. You can't participate in the activities you normally rely on to support your physical and mental health, which only makes those feelings worse. And the cycle continues.

The mental and emotional side of injury is often overlooked, but it can play a significant role in your rehabilitation and recovery.

Resilience is a self-paced, 6-lesson mini course designed to give you practical tools to better understand pain, rebuild confidence, and navigate the ups and downs of injury recovery. We'll cover pain neuroscience, setting realistic goals, monitoring your self-talk, recognizing progress, and gradually returning to the activities you've been avoiding.

Whether you're dealing with persistent pain, recovering from an injury, or struggling to find the confidence to get back to the gym or your sport, this course will help you take a more active role in your recovery.

You'll also receive a downloadable workbook to help you put what you learn into practice, one step at a time.

Mini Courses are $95 dollars for lifetime access to the course videos and materials.

“I cannot express enough how appreciative and grateful  I am for Dr. Kira. For the longest time I dealt with heel discomfort not knowing what actually happened to cause it.  I chalked it up to overuse from box jumps, running and jump rope…figured a few days or a week of rest would remedy it. That was not the case! I didn’t want to believe that I actually had something going on. I found tons of IG posts and YouTube videos to resource, however I didn’t quite know what I was resourcing. I finally decided to seek help from Dr. Kira and within my first visit she diagnosed I had Plantar Facitis.  Attending regular PT visits and doing my required homework exercises, I am proud to say I am pain free!!! ”
